COMPETITION SPECIFIC TERMS

COMPETITION OPENING AND CLOSING DATES :
The Competition will be open for entries from January 22, 2017 until May 30, 2017 (the "Closing Date")
Any entries received after of the Closing Date (for whatever reason) will be invalid.
The goal of the program is to empower youth through a socially conscious curriculum designed to provide practical exposure to entrepreneurship as a career path, help young entrepreneurs validate their business ideas, take those ideas to market quickly, and showcase the most impactful ventures to the wider community.
The aim is to strengthen and expand the impact of youth-led social ventures across the Middle East and around the globe to support the implementation and success of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The competition is open to Arab nationals, passport holders of an Arab country; or descendants of an Arab family.
The Competition is not open to employees of MBC, and their immediate family members.

Multiple entry is not allowed.
No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are lost or delayed, or which are not received for any reason.
The winner will receive seed funding. Details to be announced at a later stage.
Selection of winners is based on the applications submitted and jury selection.
The jury is formed from a group of experts in the field and selected by MBC.
Winning entries will be announced via email: firstname.lastname@example.org within a period of 30 days from the closing date of the competition.
Selection of the winners and the jury decision is considered final and cannot be negotiated.
Winners will receive details on how to claim the prize shortly after the announcement is made.
Upon applying to the competition, applicants must understand and agree to share and participate in any media communication done by MBC.
